    We are pleased to announce that CBC Group acquired all shares of “Nipponjunryo Chemicals Co., Ltd. (NJChem)”.

    NJ Chem is a chemical manufacturer with three business sites in Suita (head office), Niigata, and Fukui, and is engaged in contract manufacturing and in-house product sales using various reactions based on hydrogen reduction reactions (hydrogenation reactions).

    Since its establishment in 1945, NJChem has developed its business by using hydrogenation and various organic synthesis technologies to produce a wide range of products, including electronic materials, semiconductor reagents, functional materials, pharmaceutical and agrochemical intermediates, and cosmetic ingredients.

    NJChem has been promoting the reduction of CO2 emissions by investing in improving its environmental impact. In addition, they are also committed to sustainable environmental initiatives, such as reducing waste liquid emissions through an optimal operating system.

    Through this acquisition of shares, NJChem will become a member of the CBC Group and work together to enhance business synergies and link its strengths as a development-oriented creative trading company to the further growth and expansion of the group.

    The company plans to invest 4 billion yen over the next five years to strengthen its manufacturing capacity and expand its quality control building and offices.
